Mistydawn: It's been a while since I posted on fanstory so I wanted to tell everyone hello, and let you know I'm alright.
I was offered contracts for 5 of my stories so I'm doing a lot of editing, hoping to make them worthy of being published.
Know that you guys are always in my thoughts and prayers and that your words of wisdom, kind critiques are helping me make my stories better.
I've come a long way since I first started 4 1/2 years ago and it's all because of you. For that, I'll always be grateful. You're like a second family to me.
See you soon.
damommy: Good to see you. I've been wondering where you were. -
Sandra C. Johnston: This gives me hope as a neophyte. I am in process right now trying to figure out how it all works. Good luck in your endeavours. -
Liz O'Neill: Misty I so glad I thought to look here. I've been worried. I really miss you. If you want to say hi, my email is rcwnsliz@hotmail.com I'd love to hear from you. I miss our chats -
Liz O'Neill: Congratulations on your contracts offered. I only hope they aren't charging you a lot. It can be a slow money drain if they ask you to pay this little bit now and then this little bit another time. Be safe.
    -
Liz O'Neill: I wish there was a way we could communicate. My email is rcwnsliz@hotmail.com I miss our chats

    Liz -
KatyM: Misty, I'm back! Miss hearing from you! Katy -

Mistydawn: I found this poem doing research it's so beautiful, fits so well here I had to share it.

The Impossible Dream (The Quest)
To dream the impossible dream,
To fight the unbeatable foe,
To bear with unbearable sorrow,
To run where the brave dare not go.

To right the unrightable wrong,
To love pure and chaste from afar,
To try when your arms are too weary,
To reach the unreachable star.

This is my quest, to follow that star:
No matter how hopeless, no matter how far.
To be willing to give when there's no more to give,
To be willing to die so that honor and justice may live.

And I know if I'll only be true
to this glorious quest
That my heart will lie peaceful and calm
when I'm laid to my rest.

And the world will be better for this:
That one man scorned and covered with scars,
Still strove with his last ounce of courage
To reach the unreachable star.
CD Richards: It is indeed beautiful. Not sure if you know it's actually a song from the stage (and later film) musical, Man of La Mancha, which in turn is based on Cervantes' 17th century novel Don Quixote. I've not read the novel, but the musical film, starring Peter O'Toole, is a classic. -
sandramitchell: I love the song, I was singing it down the page ... now it'll be in my brain for the rest of the day!! lol. -
Therese Caron: Go on you tube or just google Jim Nabors (yes, Gomer Pyle!l) and find him singing this - unbelievable,

    Therese (Terry) Caron -
KatyM: I can just hear the tune that goes with this...Elvis is singing it for me. lol ttyl nite nite -
Jeffrey Mitchell: Thank You, for that beautiful poem. Life is about searching for ones destiny. I searched the sky looking for that twinkle to catch my eye. So I can see my dream take form, that is why He was born. -

Mistydawn: This is Kyleigh, my great-granddaughter learning to walk.
She and my grandbabies are my inspiration, the reason I try as hard as I do.
    WryWriter: Sooo precious!! : ) -

Mistydawn: These are my two youngest grandson's Tyler and Jordon.
    Susanjohn: Cute! :-) -
KatyM: Misty, What happened with the chapter called: Tainted Drugs? I came to read it and it said it was deleted. :( -
    royowen: -
    royowen: Super cute -

Mistydawn: This picture is my Grandaughter London and Great Granddaughter Keileigh on their first play date.
    Susanjohn: Very cute! -
    Mustang Patty: So cute! -
Cass Carlton: Two adorable little souls you have engendered.
You must have generations spanning time for these two to be the same age. I wonder if Keiliegh will ever call her Auntie London. so sweet cheers Cass Carlton -

Mistydawn: My granddaughter Maci, just received an award in school for best storyteller. I'm so proud.
Dean Kuch: A future J. K. Rowling in the making, perhaps?
Kudos to her on her grand achievement.
    ~Dean :)

nancyjam: Congratulations! She's beautiful! What a blessing. Nancy -

Mistydawn: I've learned so much in the short time I've been here. Thank you for all of your help and your support.
Commando: We at FanStory, are learning from you as well, Misty. Thank you for your help and support. I
"Salute," you, my dear friend! Best wishes.

I put my dreams on hold for many years after tragedy struck our family, I realized that no one is promised tomorrow. If I put off my dreams much longer that's all they'll ever be.
So I pound away at keyboard day after day, hoping to make them come true.
I am a mother of 7, grandmother of 14 Great Grandma of 1 plus my furry babies.
I love animals and will rescue one in a heartbeat if I see it's abused in any way.
