JTStone: I'm not a well educated man. My favorite saying about that is, I liked ninth grade so much I took it twice, didn't like tenth grade enough to stick around...
What I have learned though, came from experience. That is the wisest possible teacher.
My writing will offend a few, I know that. My favorite subjects to write about are religion and politics. I have found the fine line between sanity and normalcy gets crossed up in the gray areas of those subjects.
It brings out the best and worst in us.
It also makes for interesting reviews.
Wishing all a peaceful Sunday.
JT

giraffmang: Good to see you around again -
trimple: Yup! I just nipped over to take a look-see.

    So pleased I did. -
Sarkems: Lovely to have you back. -

JTStone: An IM from Jay makes me happy.
I would pay to read his work. Do you all really know how lucky we are to be associated with such a genius, I mean really? Where is the love?
And G. (giraffmang) You are all in the presence of greatness, yet few of you read 'Outside'; really? do you not know there is a couple of best sellers in your midst?
Rants aside, I know of several authors here that deserver credit--who here denies Dean Kuch his due? No one here does as much as he does to promote their work on a daily basis,
And my girl Cat, with her, we get at least two poems a day...who else does that?

Does anybody here remember Barkingdog? She was your number 2 writer here last year... Gone, but I haven't forgotten her. Because she is my friend.
Look for her on the paying end of life--she is that good, but no one recognized that here...why not? she was brilliant.

What will you all do when your faithful, like Jay, and G. and Ellen leave you?

Will you really say you knew them? Or will you just go about your lives.
I for one will be in line at Barnes and Nobel, happy to be buying Jay's book and then G's and Ellen's.
Read...that's what this site is about. There are some very talented authors here...
Loo them up
Toels
Russell, god I don't remember your name here, but an awesome writer WeB something....
Turtlestage, you should all know--though action eludes her... she is the best at human relations
I read and review those, because they are worthy of my time.
Find your writers. Encourage them. This could be one hell of a good site.
Bless you all...
Jimmy

Sarkems: You aren't so bad yourself, Jimmy! you are definitely in my top must-reads here! -
JTStone: You too girl, I over looked one of my favorites...
    -
I am Cat: Thanks Jimmy... TONS of great writers here... TONS of them, you among them. ;) -
    F. Wehr3: Thanks, Jimmy. Right back at you. I am Web something BTW. -
DIS-illusioned: But I reeeeeeally have to do laundry! .... -
Amsterdam: This site, has some of the worlds best writers. Your above mentioned , included .

Gungalo, Brooke, and Crystal Carry ,
were some of the best, here, and only here, did I meet.

    As we travel through life...
Who knows whom we might just greet .

just need open ears and sight to see.

    Shout out to Jimmy.

JTStone: I have said and wrote things last week in my comments here that I wish today I hadn't. Introspect allows us to see the ugly inside us all. I saw inside myself last night and wasn't particularly proud of what was there.
I'm sorry to all I offended during the past week.
The word 'despise', is both wrong and nasty.
I am Cat: It takes a person of character to admit they are wrong, Jimmy... ((((((Big hugs)))))))❤️ -
Taffspride: I second what Cat said.
    -
    F. Wehr3: Good for you, JT. We all say things from time to time that we regret. A good first step is to apologize and/or admit you were wrong.

Keep your chin up. Nobody is perfect. -
giraffmang: Good man. Integrity and humility shine through. -
michaelcahill: Open arms, my friend. I could make a list here, but I don't think the statute of limitations have run out in a couple cases. :)) -
NicciFaye: One of the sign of a great man is one who admits their faults openly. Not for public attention, but for edification of one's personal spirit and love for others.

    Well done...great man... -

JTStone: Weak minds feel awkward over perceived wrong doings that expose themselves as guilty.
I was upset yesterday and wrote what I felt. There was enough information to figure it out, if you wanted to.
Go ahead, hold yourselves up high.
Bless yourselves and damn me I don't care--you don't know me.
evilynne: I thought this site was about writers, to write to hone their writing skills, perhaps have some fun along the way. Everyone, of course, can share opinions, etc., but aren't we getting a little carried away? I thought this was a friendly site. Evi -
nor84: evilynne, it is a friendly site, but sometimes when a member is angry one person, he strikes out in general. -
    mrsmajor:

When someone makes unkind statements, there is a process that should be followed to see that such situations are reported and Tom has a chance to deal with it...if I recall, you said "I despise religion and religious people"
Indeed, I am Religious person, not even having known you or anything about you...Yet I did respond my words, "I'm not even offended, you have the right to despise people, just as I have the right to love them"..If there's anything I have learned here on this site is that there are all kinds of people here...However we are all human beings, subject to become saddened by the words of others...I do believe I showed you what a Religious person can do...and that is to respect your right to say, and believe as you wish...I do think you got a bit carried away...
But, be sure of this, I will never read any of your work, and will mute you...It's best I do that, as I certainly wouldn't want to read a negative review of any of my work...mainly because I happen to enjoy writing Spiritual poetry...however I must add, this is a special group of people here, some Religious some not...What difference does it make! -
    Amsterdam: back in the day,
    they wrote in stone.
    Spiritual poetry...
    They hoped everyone would know.
    A spirit in everyone,
    where does it go....

    What is reality
    What has been told

    Btw...

    Politics- Religion, Money-
    ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
    they rule everything.

Muffins: I wrote the wrong review for your Born Winner story. I don't know how that happened. I had so many stories opened to read and review. The only excuse I have is brain freeze. However, your story is a six. I admire the ending. I thought it was a parade for Johnny's tv appearance even though he lost. You went tough and made it real and harsh for Johnny and his mother. Wonderful story and I enjoyed reading all of it. -

JTStone: I just read the saddest news today.
I looked at the reviews under the writing and was disgusted to see so many people ignoring wishes and reviewing without reading.
And everyone wonders why I despise religion and religious people.
My thoughts are with you Pili...
mrsmajor: Well, JTStone, as aReligious person, I'm not even offended, you have the right to despise people, just as I have the right to love them...Have a Wonderful Day! -
CD Richards: Seems to me that "despising" someone because they hold to what I consider to be a delusion is a bit over the top. If someone thinks I'm going to suffer unimaginable retribution because I don't think the same way they do, that's sad - but I can live with it. They've probably been brought up to think that, even if it's a weird kind of "love". If they want to lop off my head for believing differently, then we have a problem. I think humans need to be free to express their differences, but try to get along. -
AnnaLinda: Without reading? What are you talking about? I'm lost...hatred of religion and people who believe is hardly an excuse for ....redeeming yourself. -
Linda Engel: back up: Was the sad news a posted piece? Did the author request NOT to have it reviewed and people were ignoring that and reviewing anyway? and what does that have to do with religion. I'm with you SweetLinda. Mr. Stone should be a little more clear. -

JTStone: Soooo
I guess Cat came over here to shake her tail...
Thanks gurl...
I am Cat: Yes sir... You are welcome! 😜 -
I am Cat: Wait a minute, JT... Without that cute little animated kitty... That just sounds dirty and wrong lol

    Oh well! Carry on! -
I am Cat: you talking about me? tiny animated cat shaking tail photo: Cool Cat avt29.gif -
    justafan: LMAO...GOOD ONE CAT!!! -
Dom G Robles: Jt, I admire your views. I see that you are well versed with past and current events. And from your short bio-data, I'm happy to note that that had you found one after I'm glad to hear that you had found someone who is understanding and very attentive to your needs and thinking. Congratulations. -
Margaret Snowdon: Are you eating your veg and getting your five a day? Only you're not looking too good. -

JTStone: Thanks for the advice, I'm a Cat, but I don't think I have photoshop on this computer and I hate downloading anything that says it's free...
I'll just have to look like an uncoordinated drunk until I buy the software...
Pity, those are such cool bottles.
    robyn corum: JT.

PM me your email addy -
I am Cat: It's easy to fix them... if you have an apple, then 'preview' will do it... I'm not sure about a pc... but what about an iPhone? it will orientate it as well... like robyn says... I'm sure any of us are willing to help you with it... pm one of us your email address, we can fix it... I thought there was a button in the profile portion... let me go look... brb -
I am Cat: No, I guess you can't rotate within the profile... hmmm... bummer... -
robyn corum: JT, I think I have it fixed for you. Just holler at me! -
    Amsterdam: Hey,Cat seems to approve...

    Nice to meet ya dude.

JTStone: Does anybody know how this damn photo on this page works. Every time I upload a photo it comes in perpendicular position.
The one I'm rockin' was cool on my computer. You can clearly read the' You are not Worthy' at the bottom of the label.
Currently on this page I look like a drunk that dropped his bottle.
JT
I am Cat: It's might be because of the size...
It needs to be 350 pixels wide, I think? and also, orientated in your software program... what program are you using before you put it in? -
    JTStone: -
I am Cat: tiny animated cool angel photo: Cool Cat avt29.gif here's one for you... ;) -

JTStone: I am just enjoying this place.
You are a talented lot on FanStory...

JTStone: I, like everyone, want to succeed. I'm banking on your criticism to make me better for it.

I will do my best at being helpful as well.
    nor84: I hope you're a fellow prose writer, JT. -
TAB_that's me: Welcome to FanStory. -
    rama devi: Warm welcome! -
robyn corum: Hello, hello, hello! --

    oops! sorry. got stuck!
    -
A.A.A.EXHILARATING RIDE: Oo! I see you showed up later than me! Welcome. I feel very honoured to achieve my `I think" first six in your light, after you took that into the deep- Behind the times - Australia. Enjoy sharing, I shall become a fan and eagerly wait. Meantime nominate you for a very special review. Thanks all round, Maureen*&* -
    Amsterdam: Too big to fail-
    Means
    Some,
    Too small to succeed.

I'm Banking we should wake the hell up-
    Or no body will be.
    ;)
