talahorse: I have reverted back to some of my old ways of keeping track of and involving my readers in my work and opened a yahoo groups page for my latest book, Charlie Delta 38. One of the many things I will be doing as well as posting parts of chapters, is using it to keep all my research in one digital spot, and to run competitions and other things to involve you the reader, in the creation of the book, including randomly giving a reader a chance to have one of the characters in the story named after them. To join the yahoo groups page either go to Group Email Addresses Post Message : cd38@yahoogroups.com Subscribe : cd38-subscribe@yahoogroups.com and lets get this book rocking. I am also currently working on two non-fiction military books, called "In their own words....." to be sold as a set, one written from the servicemen/womans point of view and edited by me and the other from the family members point of view and edited by me, they are meant to be a companion set. If you would be interested in contributing please look for me at facebook or yahoo groups. All links are at the bottom right hand side of this page. |

talahorse: I have started the rewrite of Charlie Delta 3.8 [working title only] some of you may previously before the house fire that destroyed all my possessions and MS, and books may have been aware of the script under the name of First Attack, I have since scrapped that...as I pull all 500 pages lost back together there is going to be the ocassional error or name hiccup, for example in last nights post of Chapter 1, it should have been the Java Sea, not the pacfic ocean, I had my men storming the wrong side of a country with that little typo. Right now it is more about preserving what I can remember, then filling in the gaps, when I get to that point I will issue a 2.0 version of the book, I hope that doesn't stop you reading along with me as I write though, I welcome your suggestions and thoughts, and if you happen to be military, ex military, from a military family or know someone serving, I am always searching for advisors to help with the technical stuff, right now some F16 and F18 experts would really help |

talahorse: for those of you scared of losing a book you are working on like I have...it may be too late for me but hopefully not you, just found this website called tablo bookmaker which lets you upload chapter by chapter, work on it within there program and when you are eventually finished attatch a cover, your palpay account and upload it as a ebook to amazon...wish I had known about it for the erotica book. ALSO is there anyone who is an active reader interested in selling any of there books for a fair price, or a downloadeder that might have some of the music, books and other research items I had downloaded for my book...its taking time to get it all down but a list will be available that I can email....thanks tala |

And no I hadddnt backed anything up to the cloud. I know, stupid me...I lost all my photos too, feels like I lost my past, my present, my future and who I am. |

talahorse: Does anybody know a good free or reasonable priced app for andriod (samsung tablet) that will allow me to cut and then paste what I copied to fanstory...I have everything thing from text editor to olive office, polaris office and a few others and none will allow a simple select all in spite of most of them having copy buttons and it is hit and miss to if you will have any success engaging manual select àrrows by holding down at the start and then scrolling manually to select it all without anything going wrong repeatedly. ?..I need help, I need a better program...if anyone can help please email me at talahorse@gmail.com with a link or program name, I would be forever greatful, you would have a fan for life. Thats my personal input for today, later this afternoon keep your eye out for chap2 of Charlie Delta 38 ( the 38 is the predicted/hopeful date of completion, making it part of the title constantly reminds and pushes me ...as do the other two motivates of all writers the desire for success and the need to prove at least 1 person you know wrong. For those curious and wanting to catch up a complete copy of chapter one is available on the fan story website. |

talahorse: Its nearly 1am so I guess it is time to retire from the computer and start reviewing yesterdays work. |

talahorse: I joined fanstory because due to my current remote location I can no longer attend regular writing classes and I wanted to be able to continue in some respect the classes that I had already started. I am halfway through writing my current novel [currently without a proper title so am calling it Charlie Delta 3/8 for the moment] and needed feedback and assistance in polishing the work. |
