A Matter Of Words: The sun shone as I got out of bed yesterday morning. Shortly afterwards, my world had a dark cloud hanging over it, following my reading of Dean's tribute to Pam. The loss I felt was a real as if one of my personal family members had passed away. It was upon Pam's encouragement that I sent my poem, accepting my husband's marriage proposal. She was so happy for us and we are eternally grateful to her. I know our FanStory community will miss her dearly. We will all mourn the loss of Pam, as she was our friend, pillar of encouragement, and a Poet Extraordinaire who showed all how to love deeply...To Pam - may your wings take you to new and wonderful places.
seren james: lovely tribute words. I totally agree. God bless Pam. -
Selina Stambi: RIP, Pam. An icon on Fanstory - sadly missed. Remembered with affection. -
Adrianna123: I can not pay to post poems, I do not have that much money to pay for mouths. I know that it say that you cant post poems on your thoughts but you did so dose that mean I can?
    love,Adrianna123 -

A Matter Of Words: Today was the one of the worst days of my life. I never thought I could be so despicable, but I was wrong. Such revelations must make for the purest writing, because it is stripped of self-delusion.
Selina Stambi: So true ....been there. Done that! :) -
DDLacy: lol! Sometimes we all have days like that! Truly! But the good thing...it gets better.. -
A Matter Of Words: Thanks you guys. Life just sucks, sometimes. -

I suppose, like any writer, sentences and words flow through my brain like a ticker-tape all day long. My ears are unintentionally pinned to people's conversations and their clothes and personal traits becomes parts of my characters.

Since joining FanStory, so many wonderful "writer-related" things have happened to me. Thanks to the FS member's feedback, my skills as a writer are improving, and I have come to view this world as nothing less than story fodder.

It truly is a crazy world out there, allowing for fictional characters and matters to be woven around and into "factual" events.

But the biggest thing of all was developing a relationship with another FanStorian - Chasennov - and actually marrying him in Perth over the holidays. We are steadily working through the divergent perspective issues incumbent with him being a poet and non-fiction writer, while I compose works that are purely fictional storytelling.

Needless to say, dinner table discussions on the perceived merits of the other's genre are interesting and very entertaining, to say the least. I suspect we will soon put the "agree to disagree" clause in our wedding vows to the test.

Yes, Fanstorians, there are stories waiting to be told and posted, so happy writing everyone!
