SaluteDobby: Won three contests in a row! On cloud nine! :)
    Debra White: Congratulations! :) -
nancy_e_davis: Well, I have been voting for your poems so I had best fan you. LOL Congratulations -
SaluteDobby: Thanks, Debra and Nancy. :) -
barleygirl: Congrats on the amazing winning streak you've had in Sept! But your writing "Premonition" (congrats on being a finalist) is a great piece. It's the first time I've read about "arranged marriage" & it actually sounded convincing to an American like myself. Typically, no matter how much it's explained & no matter how much we try to understand, it never seems to be anything we could embrace at all. Your description of your experience is very understandable & even enviable. Great work! -
    SaluteDobby: Thanks, Barleygirl!
I'm glad you liked my story :) -
Selina Stambi: Namratha, congratulations, my dear. SO proud of you - well done. Budding star ... :) -
judiverse: Congratulations on your second place win in the poem of the month contest with "A Question of Life and Death." judiverse -

SaluteDobby: Oh My God!!!! All my works have been "disabled". I have no idea how this happened. Any thoughts? I am panicking!!!
Want to know if anyone has experienced the same before I turn to Tom for help.
determineddreamer: Same thing is happening to me . I don't know what is going on either. -
Just Alyx: Everyone's is at the moment, so don't panic. I just came across the weirdness of not being able to view any writing. All posts on front page show '0' reviews. Wait and it'll pass. -
determineddreamer: Thanks Alyx, I'll do that. :) -
SaluteDobby: Whew, thanks for the reassurance, Just Alyx. Yeah, all my posts show 0 views too. -
Just Alyx: Scary, huh? Yep, whew! Cheers :) -
judiverse: Hi, SaluteDobby, and great congratulations to you for placing third in the poetry contest. Great work! judiverse -
    SaluteDobby: Hi Judiverse,
Thank you! It's a great honor. And I am humbled by all the support and reviews I got for my poem.:)
Thanks for dropping in. Have a great day!! -

SaluteDobby: Good morning! I am wondering if there are enough Harry Potter fans on the site who would be interested in a HP poetry contest? I did a quick scan of member names and there are lots of Harrys, Hermiones and Dumbledores. :)Let me know if you are interested. I would love to organize something..
Sarkems: They could just be people's real names, although I've got to admit I can't imagine anyone christening their child 'Dumbledore.' - Still, stranger things have happened. I think plenty of people would be interested, SaluteDobby, as HP is very popular. -
SaluteDobby: Wow, Titan black.. you should have saved that poem for the contest :)

Sarkems: LOL.. I am planning on getting a cat and naming it Minerva, if it's a female and Albus if it's a male.. -
JohnnyQ: That would be a great idea! I should have guessed from your name that you are a Potterhead! -
GaryCecil: I suck at poetry, but I love HP. I would read/vote for sure. :) -

SaluteDobby: Oh my God! "In the months to come" reached "recognized" status!! I'm elated. Doing the happy dance.
    Gracie619: Congratulations! -
Selina Stambi: Dropping in to say hello! :) -
SaluteDobby: "The person I've become" reached "recognized" status. A big, heartfelt Thank you to everybody on fanstory for the wonderful feedback and encouragement. -
    ruhama: Congratulations. -
    The Death: Hi:-)
yes,i haven't upgraded yet.same problem still and my college is about to resume,so it will be a very hectic final year.
    Looking forward to your post.
    Have a nice weekend -
The Death: Ohh..yes..i have a silly question to ask...do you speak Hindi?..lol..please don't mind but people down South aren't good at it..so just asked.
    Regards:-) -
SaluteDobby: Hi. Yes, I do speak Hindi. I learnt it in school for four years. I don't mind you asking. Unfortunately, people have a very wrong notions of South Indians. In Hydrabad, for example, pepole speak very good hindi. I hail from Karnataka, where Hindi is mostly taught in schools as 2nd language, which makes us pretty fluent. Also, Bollywood is a big influence. 99% of the metro cities in Karnataka play Hindi movies, which has larger audience reach, than Kannada movies. Some of us might have slight accents, but that is understandable. :) -
    The Death: Congrats!
    Your 'lights,camera,delusion' flashed well:-). -
SaluteDobby: Thanks, Anupam! I'm so happy :)
You know, the reviews that I received for this poem were mixed, unlike the other poetry contests that I won. Some praised the rhyme and rhythm, while others felt that it could be improved. I really didn't know if it would make the cut..:) -
The Death: Yeah, even I had given you a somewhat mixed review(blinders),but I did vote for you.the story was really good. -
SaluteDobby: Anupam, I thank you for your honest review. This is precisely why they have blinders- so that people don't give biased feedback, or don't feel obligated to give high ratings! :) Thanks for the vote!! -
