I have been absent this joyous outlet for quite a while.

I have been dealing with cataract issues for a while now and the ability to write without frustration was real. I do plan to rekindle my creative side real soon.

I have surgery done on one eye and the other is scheduled soon. The world looks so much better.

I look forward to reading the posts of my fellow poets an d storytellers.

I have been without regular computer access for a while. But, I am almost up and running again. Hopefully, I will also be over my writing slump.

Nottoway: I will still be posting poems this year but I will also be writing short stories about my years as a United States Air Force Security Policeman (Law Enforcement). I hope everyone will find them interesting. They are some of the events that have stayed with me even 20-30 years later. Have a good day everyone. If you are in the winter environments, stay safe.

Nottoway: My deepest sympathies to all those in Oklahoma, North Texas, the Eastern US and other places around the world who have recently suffered through such terrible events.

Nottoway: May the onset of Spring bring a certain amount of rejuvenation to everyone's spirit. For those areas about to enter the autumnal season toward winter, may there be a slowing of the beat.

Nottoway: To everyone around the world, I wish you and your family the very best during the holidays. May your travels be safe and your hearts warmed by family and friends.

Nottoway: A question was asked a while back if some of my writings are things that acually happened. Yes. Unless, I specifically state though which are, I leave to your imagination to ponder. Thank you all for liking the posts and thanks for any and all suggestions.

Nottoway: I have been writing periodically for over 40 years. During the 1 month that I have been posting on FanStory, I have gotten some of the best feedback ever. I am encouraged and inspired.

Nottoway: I joined FanStory August 12 and have posted several poems. I really appreciate the comments received. I have also done one writing challenge.

Most importantly, I am inspired to write more.

Nottoway: September 2 marks the 6th anniversary of a major health crisis in my life. Some of my writings that will be posted as time goes will reflect this event. I have so far had a very good recovery and I am doing well.
