TJ Starbuck: Wow. Not sure how to take this but I'd like to get it out there and then focus on other things. The Doctors say my cancer is terminal, but not immediately. I have upwards of 17 years. And since I'm already 50 well...none of us live forever. My hair is growing back and the chemo brain has faded so back to work. Plenty of time to become a well known author! But only if I work at it, which I intend to do. Thanks for listening! |

TJ Starbuck: Unfortunately, more bad news. The cancer in my liver is coming back so I have to go onto hard chemo right away. The wedding is postponed. I will have bad chemo brain so you may not see me for several months but I will do my best to hang in there! Thanks everyone!! |

TJ Starbuck: Time for an update: Good news and Bad news. Good news: There is no cancer in my lungs. The cancer in my liver has shrunk significantly. I am to stay on my current chemo and it should be gone by December. Bad news: The current chemo is not affecting the cancer in my bones. So after the wedding and honeymoon I have to go back to the nasty chemo, lose my hair and all...all over again. There is no way around it. I have to walk through the fire, or lay down and die. I guess I'll walk through the fire. :-( |
