Titanx9: On May 5, 2012, I walked a half marathon (13.1 miles) for the American Heart Association. My time was 4.13 hours, which could have been better if I'd trained weekly; my team trained Saturday mornings. Would you believe starting February 2, 2012 through May 5, it rained four Saturdays. I don't walk in the rain, unfortunately. As a result of the walking, I feel physical fit and I continue to walk 8 to 12 miles a week. Yahoo, I found a hobby - walking!
    sunnilicious: Congratulations. hat's an accomplishment. The NYC Marathon is in Novemeber. I could sip a smoothie and watch.

If you never experience disappointment, how will you ever enjoy the sweetness of success? If you fail, don't waste time moping or regretting your choices; get up, dust yourself off, and start over!

    LYLE: First, I think that it is sad that you don't know where you were born.
    Second, I read your writing about the many faces of women, which is excellent. And third, in your "philosophy" the line used to be "Pick yourself up, dust yourself off, and start all over again." :) Fred and Ginger in a 1935 movie, if I correctly remember. "Swingtime"?
