noel manuel: The death of a leaf Every fallen leaf has got A unique story to tell, Of the weathers it had fought Till the moment it mysteriously fell It lived its life so high above Half hidden from the eye, Neâ??er alone in the greenery of love Beneath the open hearted sky It withstood every sweeping storm That screamed across its face, But in death remained forlorn And its arteries bore no grace It shared life with other veins Through darkness and in day, Now all that remained were its stains It was time for it to make way Fluttering uneasily as it departed It descended to kiss the earth, Dried, tattered and heavy-hearted It was the end of a magnificent birth Every fallen leaf has to share A unique story to us all, Things you and I are not aware Every time they mysteriously fall Noel Manuel Poet Coordinator â??
