JoAnna77: Thankyou to everyone who has reviewed my work and to everyone who has become a fan. I have enjoyed talking to many of you and wish you well, but I have decided that regretably I will be leaving this site. I will be starting a creative writing degree with the Open College of the Arts and wish to concentrate my efforts on that.
JeJo: Best wishes for your future endeavors!! -
Laurie Clayton: I wish you all the best with your degree...Enjoy! -
    rkstata: Aw, good luck! -

Lovinia: Congratulations on your 'Seal of Approval'. Such accomplishment. I feel humbled with my little handful of poems. :) -
Lovinia: I am still learning names, pen names and popped in because of your lovely review. Just looked over to have a read and realized you wrote "Billy"! ... (oops I don't think we are supposed to mention our writing here). Well you well know why I am so excited. :) -
ByGodsHand1018: Congratulations! That is so awesome! You rock!
    -
JoAnna77: Hi Lovina and ByGodsHand1018, Thanks for the visiting my profile and for the congratulations on the Seal of Approval! -

JoAnna77: The profile picture I have added is a picture of the sea in Swansea, South Wales. Unfortunately I do not have any pictures available that I have taken in The Western Isles of Scotland - but I will work on that next time I visit!
Swansea is another place that is very special to me - as this is where my Dad (who died in 2008) was born and lived for much of his life. My Mum lives there still and I enjoy visiting her and walking along the five mile sea front.
kdstorm: My grandmother is from Ireland and so I find that side of the pond very interesting :) The picture is very beautiful. -
juliaSjames: My sister-in-law lives in the Mumbles, and my son lives in Swansea itself. My husband and I visit often. Very beautiful, even in the rain. -
Snowball30: I spent some of the war years in South Wales going to school in Ammanford and watching rugby in Neath. Swansea was regularly visited.I returned a few years ago with my wife on a tour of the Gower and stayed in the Mumbles for a couple of nights. It had not changed that much! on al -
Lovinia: I have not visited your part of the world. This image is stunning and I add it to my travel list. One day, I wish. :) Lovinia -

JoAnna77: At the moment I am posting a series of poems on the Western Isles of Scotland, which is where my husbands family comes from. It is a place that we have visited many times over the past 27 years since we met, and where he proposed to me. It is a place of incredible beauty, wild weather, white sandy beaches, deserted moors, and stunning mountain scenery, and a place that has captured my heart.
I have a lot of work on other subjects too which I hope to share on this website, from spiritual writing, life writing, to 'snapshots of life in London, England -which is where we currently live.
I am also hoping to publish my dad's life story, and to write short stories, and childrens stories.

JoAnna77: I am new to this site. I have really enjoyed reading so many lovely poems and stories on this site.
mtngalofnc: Welcome to FS. I look forward to sharing our writing worlds. -

5-7-5 An Introspection In Seventeen Syllables Moments I Have Lived
I have found it rather amazing that an existence of time can be expressed in such few words and yet provide a specific and definitive explanation.

Great reviews:
Raw with emotion - love and pain, regrets and hope, truth and tragedy. It touched me at points, made me choke up.
