DramaMamaKY: I am having so much fun with this!!! Question though - how is it that those who have nothing to share (as in posts or writing) can "rate" your writing?? A little frustrating to have someone critique and not be able to really learn from their wisdom by their writing!! Oh well!! :)

    RobertaLee: Now, to 'promote' your work that you post you have to either review lots of other's or pay up...which most of the really well read people do. I would not recommend that were I you as it is really very self gratifying but one doesn't learn much paying others to tell them how great they are. There are some really good artist on this site in every genre...review them and you will learn much; besides most of them pay a lot of "money." There are a very few who will return your reviews of this group, but if anyone does, it's usually worth their insights. So enjoy...and don't be afraid to laugh at yourself and the 'posing' of others. -

I'm new at this public writing stuff although I have had the scripts that I've written, performed. I've never belonged to a "writing site" before. My mom, who is also a member on FS and has been for years and years, gave me this membership as a gift for my "thirty-something, just got divorced this year, raising a very intelligent child on my own and need some competent feedback and adult diversion(not perversion) birthday present." A little apprehensive, but looking forward to spending time participating.
