gargoyle socks: WISHING for time to think, to write, to NOT WORK, to be myself, to have fun, to enjoy life. Ironic how we have to work to be able to pay for things that help us live but because of that work we do not have time to enjoy said things.
Lovinia: WOW! This is so true. Busy times for new mum and working. Been there three times .... believe it or not, one does survive. :) I was fortunate not to work when mine were young ... life has changed so much since twenty three years ago. The pace is much faster and so much more on the agenda. Just 15 minutes (even ten) quiet time totally for your self ... lock yourself away somewhere and 'blank out 'the world and the chatter in your head and think of a beautiful serene place ... this can give you the equivalent of eight hours sleep. It is unbelievable ... and you will then find a little time for poetry and yourself. Love & Hugs - :) Lovinia xoxo -
gargoyle socks: Thanks, that sounds like good advice! It helps a lot to have someone who understands and feels the same way. Thank you :) -

gargoyle socks: Adults are obsolete children. ~Dr. Seuss
Bicpen: ...and children are drunk little adults...trust me I`m a doctor. -
    gargoyle socks: LOL -

gargoyle socks: You will find poetry nowhere unless you bring some of it with you. ~Joseph Joubert

TammyGail: I like that :) Very cool -
Lovinia: That's why I always liked dear Edgar - smart man! Joseph Joubert seems to know what he is talking about also. It is such a lovely quote! -
