Sngldad4gd WAS a single father raising his children the very best he could, that is until he met and married the love of his life Elwyn, who came from New Zealand to start the last chapter of their lives together. He ended 2007 as the 4th ranked poet on Fanstory. He has been writing for the better part of his life as a release and a way to say "Hey you're not alone, I've been where your at." He believes if his poetry and writing can touch just one person then he has done well, he has done well. He has lived in quite a few places in his life and draws from each and everyone. Some become blurs and lost in time because there was noone to share the experience with. He believes in his writings which is why, even thought there could be more there is no hurry for its more important to him to touch rather than fill a book. He attended the poetry convention in Las Vegas in 2006 put on by Poetry.com and was impressed by the support shown there and also a comment by W. Snodgrass, "We poets,we're a strange lot", for some reason rings true to him. He has been in several anthologies and has written a poem in memory of Princess Di which was published in Langollen,Wales in a small book with other poets dedicated to her.He lost earlier writings when he moved from Kentucky to wherever the road led. Among them was a small pamphlet type book he wrote called "Spontaneous Originalities" which he published for friends. He found one remaining copy this year and plans to hopefully publish a book this year with friends help.

I have found the most wonderful lady. Who says true love doesn't exist and only on the movie "The Princess Bride,LOL). Imagine this, She is from New Zealand, I am from the states and we met on an Australian game site called. Who would of thought it,LOL. It is out there and worth waiting for.
