Thank you, Paul, I couldn't agree with you more! I don't have a son but if I did I would teach him to honor voting! I know it isn't as simple as that yet there is still a chance for him yet! I would gladly talk to your son if he would answer this poem I would. So, have a great day, and remember to vote come to the next election!

Many have ignored the duty on one hand and on the other hand, complained as to how things are. I enjoyed how you ended the last verse - with gratitude at completion. Your words are compelling in light of the world we are holding on and choosing to leave our children and grandchildren. It's very sobering to realize What we, as a culture, are apparently, willingly, throwing away.

It is sobering indeed when I consider the environmental issues of today and further into the future! I am not so willing to throw it all away! Our culture and our pride in ourselves is our birthright!

Hi Wendy, I am finally answering your review! It was written 7 days ago and I wish I had answered sooner but you know how things were going for me then!
I am feeling better finally each and every day, it has been a long time coming it seems to me! The freedom to vote should never be underestimated!
