You did a good job explaining those smelly cheeses and how they are made, what they taste like, and where they originated. Your article is well-researched with good examples to support it.
I hate smelly cheese and would never, ever eat it. I don't like to even look at it. The only good thing to come from smelly cheeses was penicillin.
Respectfully, Jan

Well, I can't say that even from just the name and subject matter that I was excited to get started reading. But like many books, once you get past the cover the substance keeps you reading. Thanks for sharing.

This is interesting. All too often, I find the cheese I have purchased but have not used has turned blue with mold. I'm pretty sure it is something I should not dare to consume without cutting off the blue or white mold. Since the antibiotic Penicillin is developed from a mold, I wonder if these cheeses you write about have any curative properties.

Thank you for sharing. I happen to be huge fan of Blue Cheese, but am the only one in my family. So I only get to indulge when we go to certain restraunts that carry it. The house made Blue Cheese dressing are better than the others. Thank you for sharing.

Lots of good and fun information here. I remember my grandfather enjoying Limburger cheese. It did smell pretty funky! Great info on these pungent cheeses.

A very well-written interesting article about different cheeses and their association with stinky feet. I know now more about the different cheeses than before, but I will still stick to my normal choices for eating cheese.

I really appreciate your posting this article on the site as I love informative ones and this is one of the best. I guess I am a stinky cheese lover. No salad goes into my mouth without blue cheese dressing. I draw the line at Limburger but think some of the others mentioned in your article follow the same line. Thanks for sharing.
