Good poem on a present subject that affects us all (and "all" meaning here "worldwide"). This new virus knows no limits and travels by car, plane or ship and also in a bag or in a paper. Looks like "there's no place to hide". But (fortunately) we have an army of people that keep us safe and feed. Your poem rise their action being the borderline of our health. Thanks for sharing your poetry!

Your poem is a lovely message of gratitude to all essential workers, written in plain down to Earth language. It's minimalistic and to the point. Thank you for sharing this piece and caring!

Hi, Jake
The emergency workers are putting their lives on the line every day to save our lives. Many nurses on the news have said this is the very worst emergency their have ever faced.
Except for the Army in the laid back 70'd, I have never had a job about which my life was in danger.
The people in my hometown have followed the laws (masks) and have gone the extra mile to help their neighbor in times like these.
Have a really nice week, Jake.
You and yours stay safe and healthy.

Jake,
This free verse simple states the thanks we all feel to the front line of workers that help us stay safe from this disease that seems to be taking over our lives.
Good luck, keep writing and stay healthy.
