Let's see, what do you mean by Aussies? I think you are referring to a breed of a dog. A gorgeous dog, in fact. But then it didn't blend in with what you were writing...Aussie are considered an instructor?

LOL!! Could this be funnier? NO! What is it about accents that drives us nuts? My daughter recently met a guy from South Africa. (What was he doing here in Central Texas! Dunno...) She was SO taken with him. Yes, he's cute. Yes, he's smart and driven. But what did she rave on and on about? THe ACCENT of course! lol

A nice witty, humorous post on the coronavirus saga. I like the pondering on skiing and surfing. Never thought of the comparison between the two, but I guess there are similiarities. Who knows when travel and leisure will recover. Maybe next year. We can always hope. estory

That's so funny, especially your last sentence. I know what you mean - we miss the tourists in every state. When I would go visit my parents in Hawaii - there were so many Aussie tourists but alas, due to Covid, the hotels and restaurants are empty. So sad as it's the main economy of the state!

This is just one vignette to illustrate how our lives have changed this year. The changes have not in general been for the best , and decisions that would protect the general public seem to have come too little too late.
