A definitively creative way to approach to the "obscure word" with lovely silhouettes. Great picture supplementing the written message. Wise use of a foreign word to express directly the significance you needed for your poem. French word that comes from: Baise (kiss) main (hand). Poem name in French provides an uncommon approach for your poem.

The 7-9-7, without being illustrated, clearly gives definition to the word 'baisemain' within the second line. Enjoyed the rhyme. You will be a strong competitor. Best wishes!

I think this is sweet and this is certainly an obscure word but, though I am not sure, I think your syllable's are not quite correct. A kiss on the hand is so sweet and elegant.

Your poem reminds me why it's so fun to be young and just starting out.

This is a lovely poem that perfectly accompanies a lovely photo but, I think the contest requirements call for a syllable count of 9-7-9, -yours is a 5-7-5, so you may want to add a dew syllables to avoid the disqualification - especially since this one feels like a winner to me.
