Beautifully written poem with great rhyme and flow. History can be unkind to quiet men like me. But I hope beyond all hope it will grant me a reprieve. Well done.

Sometimes it the quiet people who get the most done in the world. With all the chaos in this country, we should all take a stand to change things. Very well written, thank you for sharing.

The author's words are interesting, thought provoking and creative.
I pondered on the words and theme of this poem. The poem flows
and connects well. The artwork is engaging and compliments these
words. Have a great day!

A very well-written poem about history that can be unkind and reminds us of the bad things that happen but the good things aren that we learn to avoid making the same mistakes.

Congratulations on this well-written piece. History won't judge me harshly; it won't judge me at all I expect; I'm hoping to be forgotten within 100 years after my death. Good luck with the competition!

What a beautiful poem .You did a wonderful job and I enjoyed reading it . My Dad taught me to always stand for my beliefs regardless of others opinions. .To always trust in God and he will see me to everlasting Eternity !

Poignant and powerful--coincidentally, I just posted a 6-liner on this theme of making a stand, then taking a seat--as termed in your priceless conclusion--willful apathy--brilliant!--you nailed it.

This is a powerful poem. Wistful, the author seems overwhelmed by circumstance and apathy.
Everything will be okay.
I feel the troubles we have now, are the catalyst for an enlightened and just America.
Have a great weekend, cheers.
