Full Circle
Sapphire skies
Seagulls? cries
Children playing on a summer day
Happy and joyful in every way
Sweet innocence
Lacking permanence
Seeks relevance
With time
Clocks chime
Children grown will leave the nest
Giving the world a taste test
Some sweetness
Some sourness
Never bitterness
Respect earned
They returned
Each year for special family gathering
Silence replaced with cheerful children chattering
Happy voices
Right choices
Heart rejoices
