indeed I am smiling - cute, cute! and congratulations on your honors!
Did your husband do that for one of your kids, by chance, or did you just think up this delightful 80 word gem?
At any rate, I was happy to see the poor rabbit didn't smother overnight.:)
Neat story!

Really really nice story, Well composed, succinct, and entertaining; all in 80 words.:) I like the way you inserted a little intrigue into this very very short story, while keeping the ending perfectly logical. Nice going and good luck.

Yeah, 80's not a whole lot, but it you 'got it' - hooray!! ;) Thanx so much for such an awesome review, Steve - I worry on these short ones that I might miss points 'in my head' and forget to 'spell them out' for the reader! ;) Take care! ;) Yvette

-After reading the story
and going back to the

-You create good suspense,
especially at the reading of the will.
-A great ending and a very
happy little girl with an
imaginative father and grandfather!
-A very good entry; good luck.

Yvette,

You see I do read longer posts written by the people I follow. LOL

Cute twist to your fictional story - well conceived and written. Grandpas often have good sons (and daughters) who fill the offspring and spouses with happiness.

Hullo stranger. So sorry I have not been around your stuff in ages. I should have made a note somewhere of my favourite prose writers. Unfortunately, because I have fanned so many of you your writing notices get lost off the pages. This was a lovely read and I wish you well for the contest.

Hi Yvette,
Adorable little tale, sometimes expectations are always most
treasured by precious children, as proved by excited little Katy.
Her and Grandpa shared child like spirits when he was alive,
and he delivered his magical gift in equally child like joy!
Clever twist....poor Charles, so bereft!
Thanks for sharing dear. Cute reminder to us all about
expectations and losing sight of the magical or most precious
no matter in what form it arrives or is gifted to us.
Love, blessings, Ronni (;) (:)
