Enjoyed the prayer like nature of this piece. The lines about letting faith in God take the place of the painful stinging melancholies of death was a very profound statement. Well done.

Truly words to which I can relate here, Dolly -- great employment of your Reel to bring a bit of song to the acceptance and moving forward... :) :) Yvette

A very well-written Novenary Reel in comfort to Yvonne and her family who are dealing with the loss of a loved one. She will be so grateful for all the prayers and good wishes we send to her.

well done in describing how grief and pain can borrow deep into the skin and soul and the need for faith to heal.
Enjoyed your writing.
Good luck with the contest.

I think this flows so naturally that the rhyme scheme does not seem forced at all. What an interesting thought, that faith can help divert one's thoughts or painful shock.

Your poem is beautifully shaped. What a tragedy for Yvonne. It's hard for us to comprehend what it's like for the person going through this. Many people are praying and hoping for her to let healing begin. I hope she'll be back to us soon. Very touching, with some added hope. judi

To hold another's hand through the stages of grief, til all is resolved in the place of relief. Lovely expression here of understanding, empathy, friendship and grace.
Well done!
