The pain of a loss is beyond description. It takes a long time to heal; maybe it can never be healed. Only time can dilute the pain, but it is always there.

May the dead rest in peace. I will pray for the survivors to look forward.

Thank you for your kind and compassionate review, and especially for praying. I believe Yvonne lost her son suddenly and unexpectedly. That's what happened to my own Mom, and it's a terrible blow to a mother. It's an awful thing, when children predecease their parents, and very difficult for parents to withstand... so that's why I wrote it. I appreciate your empathy. - Mary Kay

Outstanding work indeed! I have read it many times without being able to say or write anything about it? What could I write to a mother who has just lost her son if not feel her dolorous painful mourn wrapped up in her heavy black cloak? You, personally have well understood and felt it on your skin, dearest Mary Kay when you lost your brother and had to tell your aunt about his death, your mother's sister, and this was difficult to express. How could you have told it to your mother about him? There is no explanation of how much a mother will ever love her life time son! HIs mother is his mother and her love for her son is unique until death survive! A great immense praying work indeed, dearest friend of mine. May your days with Jorge shine over all this difficult disgraceful moment walking with Our Lord Jesus Christ blessed! Tony

Thank you, my dear friend Tony, for your very touching and heartfelt review of this prayer. I am so grateful, every time someone reads it, because I know that prayers are being lifted for Yvonne, "damommy," one of our own FanStory writers. As indescribable as that day was for me, when I had to break that unspeakable news to my Mom and her sister, my aunt, none of us can ever fully know the extent of another's pain but God Himself, but that is also why we can trust that our intercession is being heard by the most tender of hearts. The Father Himself knows the pain of losing a Son! And so we pray.
I am so glad that Yvonne is back with us now. We writers often use our words to heal our wounded hearts, it is a blessing that we all share. Thank you so much for reading and reviewing, and for the six shining stars. Thank you for the blessing, as I pray also for the blessing of the Lord Jesus Christ upon you and your entire family! In His Precious Name, Amen.

Hello Mary Kay,
God bless you. Your poem and message to Yvonne is so exceedingly kind, precious, loving, and sincere. I did not until this moment, know of the loss of Yvonne's precious son. I am so sorry she must endure this awful pain and sadness. Mary, I am also sorry for your past loss of your brother. Oh yes, God knows our pain and our heart. He is so near to Yvonne as the air she breathes. I am a mother of one son/child, and I cannot imagine Monty leaving this earth before me. I will pray to our Father above for renewal of Yvonne's strength and peace. The FanStory family cares for each other. Mary Kay, your love, and compassion for your friend shows clearly in this beautiful message. Also, I am sure your message has also brought comfort to others on this FanStory platform. May God bless you both richly.
Yvonne, I am deeply sorry for the loss of your son and will pray for you and your family's peace. Trust in the Lord and He will get you through this. God loves you, and all His children.

Proverbs 3:5 - Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
Matthew 5:4 - Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted.

Thank you for your beautiful review, Joyce. It always warms my heart when people read this prayer, and take it to heart, because it means that more prayers are being lifted up for our dear Yvonne. I was happy to see that she (damommy) is back on FanStory, writing poems again. It's what she does so well, and I'm sure it helps during these very tough times.

Thank you, also, for your kind expressions of sympathy for my past loss of my brother, John. I saw firsthand, how hard it was for my Mom, and I would never want this for anyone else.
May God bless and protect you, Monty and your whole family.
    Love, Mary Kay xoxo

I love your poem and prayers. I'm not a mom, but I feel for this woman who lost her beloved son. Grief is so difficult to handle, but I really believe God can help Yvonne carry her sadness.
Yvonne, I did not know you well, but please know you have so many friends who care. And Jesus cares. I believe he hurts too that someone young was taken.
God bless you.
Cindy

Thank you, Cindy, for your beautiful, compassionate review. It touches my heart whenever anyone reads this, prays for Yvonne and offers a word of encouragement. I'm not a mom either, but I've known mothers in my own family who were bereaved (both my mother and my grandmother) and it cuts very deeply.
Yes, dear Cindy, we agree, Jesus cares! ❤
    God bless you, too.

Oh my, I did not know about Yvonne's son. I will message her with my condolences. I am sure that she is most appreciative of these prayers.

My condolence on your losses as well. There is a great book that I highly recommend for dealing with deaths of loved ones. I will send you the name of the book and author later today.

Thank you so much for your excellent and compassionate review. Yes, she contacted me privately and was extremely appreciative. I don't think she's spending much time on FanStory, which is very understandable in her circumstances.
Thank you very much for your kind condolences. It's been a long time, but my Mom and I will always miss my brother John; my husband and other family members also miss him... we all wanted more time with him. Sure, I am interested in the book information. God bless you. - Mary Kay

Thank you so much for your sweet review, Yvette. Yes, we're each trying to do our part to help her through, if at all possible -- and I know it is, insofar as God's faithfulness in answering our prayers; I hope our words will also reach her directly, when the time is right. It's good if they help others, too. Thank you for your encouragement, my friend, and may you be blessed.
    Love, Mary Kay xoxo

Hello Mary, what a beautifully written piece of work dedicated to Yvonne. I did not know she has lost her son. OMG! How very sad. I don't know how we cope with a loss like that. You have put your trust in God. I know about your brother John - You wrote about him in a previous post. I lost my brother last year. I was devastated, so sudden. We never really get over the loss of a loved one, but we carry on - sometimes quiet tears are shed. Lovely work Mary - love Dorothy x

Dear Dorothy, thank you so much for your excellent, sensitive and compassionate review. Yes, I was also shocked at the very sad news about Yvonne's loss. I wanted to wish it away, for her sake.
I am so sorry you lost your brother, also. Last year, that's very recent. It took me about three years before I made some peace with my loss. It's different for each person, each situation. There's still an ache, but somehow an adjustment is made at some point, for most of us. It's really incomprehensible, deep down. We must trust in God, He is our hope. May He bless you with His peace.
    Love, Mary Kay xoxo

A very well-written prayer for Yvonne in their time of grief. Each comforting word from her friends make her grief a little less painful and will bring her closer to acceptance and closure.

I am sure your compassionate prayer of intercession will be appreciated by Yvonne. Some hurts are beyond healing but with the love of God and the knowledge that others understand her grief, as expressed in these prayers, she will be comforted.
