Your pen has a beautiful and wonderful way with words, Yvette. I have tears in my eyes. I know of Yvonne's lost and wrote my condolences. I know I can write a poetic form to be enter in the chapter, but I find it hard to keep reminding Yvonne of that loss every time she reads a poem.

Thanx so much for your review on this one, Jose -- it was certainly not my usual and was quite cathartic in many ways... :) Sending you smiles for the week! ;) Yvette

Thanx so much for your encouraging review here, Jerry, and the smile you've given me! I gotta admit that it feels kinda weird responding to 'reviews' as it really was such an emotional write (you know, one of those 'cleansing' ones, if that makes any sense...) But those stars are a wonderful reassurance that my words resonated ... Take care of you out there, sir, and make the most of your Sunday (whatever that may be)! ;) :) ;) ;) Yvette

So elegant in softness, yet dynamic in its poetic endeavour to paint the image, which starts so eloquently by stating gently swirls (suggesting dynamism, breeze, which suggests alacrity) and "who breathes the breeze, and lights the sun" suggesting the same contrast. Well done, lovely imagery. Blessings Roy

Wow, Roy -- what an awesome surprise this morning!! ;) :) Thanx so much for your encouraging review here, sir -- feels kinda weird responding to these as it really was such an emotional write (you know, one of those 'cleansing' ones, if that makes any sense...). But those stars are a wonderful reassurance that my words resonated (and didn't step on any toes... sometimes I get accused of being 'unfeeling' cuz I'm just not one to 'show' my feelings...) Take care of you out there , and make the most of your Sunday (whatever that may be)! ;) :) ;) ;) Yvette

Thank you for sharing your prayers for Yvonne with us--there can be no greater loss than that of one's child. The picture you selected established the mood well for these quatrains. I am glad you gave her permission to feel undone. Sighs- Joan

Yes; it's damned okay to fall apart. This IMO is an exceptional piece, in its composition, its presentation, and its intention. This is a touch of class, from the golden sunlight through the window too the black background and gold lettering, this speaks of Hallmark quality. Thank you.

So, you really know how to make a girl humble, Steve... but, I gotta say, I think I might enjoy working for Hallmark as long as it doesn't involve dealing with parents... LOL!! ;) :) Thanx so much for your encouraging review here, sir -- actually feels kinda weird responding as it really was such an emotional write (you know, one of those 'cleansing' ones, if that makes any sense...). Hello Yvette,
A beautiful poem to put words to the inexpressible;
the imagery and insight is splendid.
I'm sure Yvonne will find great comfort
in knowing how much love and caring her friends
share with her.
Wonderfully expressed.

Hi Yvette,
This s truly a most irrepressibly compassionate heart and
soul 's wisdom and tears, message of consolation and inspiration
for Yvonne, bar none! Interred realities embedded in deep wisdom
and candor, evoke a sense of a spontaneous hug thrust out to
this person, make this a phenomenal guide to relief and recovery.
Crowning grace and blessed reality assurance, your last sentence,
'it's damned okay to fall apart', since most times, it is inevitable.
Most surely this will be a most soothing and relieving message
and deeply moving inspiration and solace. You are are such a
profound humanitarian in relating to such deep crisis event.
Thanks for sharing dear.
PS.Been off while due to delayed diagonosis of Brochitis; seems
the hassle of trips to Ca. with that bad air from fires, and our OK
wind, and rain, etc, took its inevitable tool. Am on mend with
plenty of meds and Dr. orders to more rest to avoid pnemonia;
so am doing that for sure. Just wanted to let you know.
No worry, will get over this, nothing that serious and get back
up to par soon.
Love, blessings always, Ronni (;) (:)

First, oh my goodness - I do hope you're up and about soon!! Just be sure to also do the 'old fashioned thing' of resting and getting enough fluids and fresh air (without a freaking mask! Sorry... hope that doesn't offend...) Wish I could bring you hot herbal tea to share with a hug and conversation...! You take care of you!!
Now, THANK YOU for the wonderful review and those shining stars -- they are a big, bright spot in my otherwise 'gloomy' weekend -- not so much the mood this time, really just haven't seen the damn sun since like Tuesday I think... UGH!! :/ :/ But I and my smile shall persevere (especially since the husband's out of town for another whole week - lol!!) .... ;) :) Have a wonderful week, Beautiful Friend, and get well! ;) Yvette

Your words for Yvonne are beautiful and tender and true, YM. You are right about mothers. I love the line about one mother to another in description box. Your presentation is awesome. I know Yvonne will love this when she feels ready to read it. You paint a true picture about the grieving process. Yes, memories will resurface in time. Yes, she will 'fall apart' many times.
Respectfully, Jan

Yvette, this is incredibly beautiful, full of so much empathy and understanding, truly from one mother to another.
So true:
"Nobody knows except the One -
Who breathes the breeze and lights the sun -
the true depth of your heart's despair
or how your world has come undone"
Your words are so well chosen and I think they will bring Yvonne comfort and perhaps even a smile, when she reads your poem. It's really a very special one.
"let mem'ries come as they see fit:
unbidden . . . fresh . . . as winter's snow..."
For the memories certainly do come.

You're very welcome, Yvette.
Yes, this one is hard to fathom -- especially from one mother to another. A tough write for you, but full of so much love.
Blessings and hugs, Mary Kay xoxo
