I like the slant rhyme with victim and eviction in this six word poem that inventively uses eviction as a metaphor and personification for the leaves falling from their home on the branches of the tree.
Good luck in the contest.
Keep writing and stay healhty.

Clever use of words here as leaves are no longer wanted by summer and they turn brown in disgust at being rejected, I enjoyed your few words to describe the changing season, love Dolly x

Thank you, Dolly. I love this time of the year here in Texas. Spring runs a close second, but just doesn't last as long as our fall weather.

This is perfect. It's timely, it makes sense and I love the picture included. 6 words can say so much, can't it? Excellent entry for the contest, best of luck to you.

Yes, leaves are falling already. Summer has been evicted. But her warmth is lingering. She won't depart graciously- and that's ok. Not ready for snow yet...

A very good poem with only six words to work with. But it's true, the leaves get evicted, ready or not. The picture you chose goes well with your poem. The picture and the poem enhance each other beautifully!

Only six words but I love how you worded the change of the seasons.
The simplicity gives your reader something to remember as they are raking up the leaves.

Good luck in the contest.

Hello Neonewman,
I appreciate the sentiments in your 6 word poem as well as the rhyming = not easy to achieve in only six words.
Please note:
Since "evition" is not a word, I believe you may want to edit your title to "Eviction."

Thank you for sharing!
Best Wishes!

Your six word poem creates a clear scene and a feel for nature. Summer does have a tendency to evict the leaves. Excellent use of words that well describes the Fall season.

-A gorgeous image.
-I haven't seen you on FS
in quite a while.
-Hope you are doing well.
-You have used your 6 words well.
-The topic is good, and the
imagery is effective.
-I also like the personification
of the leaves.
-In your title, you left out the
'c.' I was wondering what
evition meant:)
-Good luck in the contest.

Yes, thank you for catching that one as well as the awesome review. I have missed everyone and sad to hear of those who've passed. This has been an extreme year for all. My cousin(like a mother to me)was diagnosed with stage 3 and 4 cancer in her breasts. The Chemo nearly took her as she is 71. I was furloughed for the last 3 months of her treatments and spent my days taking her to her treatments and what not. Her husband doesn't drive, so helped with things they needed. It was awful to watch, but she had them both removed and she has made an astonishing recovery. I am happy to be back and look forward to writing and reviewing.
    God bless
