"eviction", is short, succinct and very well-written. With a minimum of words, this talented poet, has told it as it is. I look forward to seeing your next post.

Very witty and clever. I thought you were talking about a real eviction (lol). I like your metaphor of autumn eviction. Stunning artistic presentation and visuals. Good luck in this contest, this should do very well.

Nice 6 word poem for the contest. Leaves fall victim to summers eviction. Good wording suggesting autumn leaves falling at summers end. Absolutely beautiful colourful visual of the autumn leaves on the ground.

I never thought of Fall as being the result of Summer being evicted, exactly, so I enjoyed your poem. It always moves me that dead leaves are so beautiful. Good luck in the contest!

A very well-written six-word poem about leaves falling victim to summer's eviction right on time each year without fail seasons change while we look on and see the changes happening.

Please forgive me if I show no sympathy for the newly evicted leaves as I am the poor chump who has to rake them and bag them for removal. It is no fun and I do not look forward at all to work that is required to accomplish this back breaking task. As to their sad eviction, I say: "Bah, good riddance!"

Oh, I feel your pain, my friend. I believe I will invest in a leaf blower this year. Thank you for the awesome review and I hope your labor is light this year.

Thanks, I think that I may well farm the work out to a teen in need of a few bucks.

That was a clever way of wording that period of the leaves lives. It's a reminder of all those people who are also being evicted due to the virus closing their work places. Well done and good luck! :)) Sandra xx

Your words alone are better than any six star review Abby. Thank you for reading my work. This contest will be judged by the committee. I've entered a few of them, but actually do better in the public voting arena lol.

Great picture! Obviously, these leaves fell in a place with no wind! It brings the word "fantasy" to me as in Texas, Summer maintains squatters rights well into November.

Love the term "squatters" used in this awesome review, Reese. I will have to invest in a leaf blower this year.
