Definitely not a happy contest entry. It is, however, well written and tells a complete story. The character is believable and there's a problem. I'm not to fond of the solution, but still a good story. Good luck with the contest. I'm sure you won't need it.

I do like this story of murder and suicide.
For only 80 words; it gives the entire picture of the the despair of the killer, why he killed her and his final verdict.
Well done job.
Good luck in the contests.

Wow! This is brutal flash fiction. It sounds like Derrick managed to knock himself down a little to far to picked back up. After the sledge hammer incident, the gun in his mouth was the most logical choice. Nicely written. Good luck in the contest.

A very well-written eighty-word flash fiction about the events that lead to the incident at Taysom Hill Park. He knows he knocked himself down too far when he kills his cheating girlfriend and could not face the consequences and end us life as well.

BRETT!
Oh my stars. I was NOT expecting THAT. Which, I suppose, makes the moment have that much more of an impact. But, whoa...
I hate that this crazy man had to take another with him - isn't that far too often the case?
A complete story in just 80 words. Kudos!
