Your poem is beautiful, Sally. The presentation is equally beautiful in words and image. Together both make a memorable poem for Yvonne and any others who have faced the loss of a child. I know Yvonne will treasure your awesome words.
Respectfully, Jan

Hi Sally, I've only just learned that Yvonne has lost her son. To lose a child is the worst. It must be so hard to take in, such a bottomless pit of sorrow and grief. You've written a beautiful poem for her. Ulla xxx.

A verywell-written heartfelt poem and comfortn to Yvonne who have lost her son. It is one of the hardest grieving anyone may face job matter how old they are they are still your child.

Tender, sensitive poem, Sally. I wasn't aware of the tragic stillbirth of your precious granddaughter, Esther. Thank you for sharing it, at this moment, to comfort a dear friend who has endured the unspeakable loss of a son who was, as you say, in his prime.
I was only beginning to get to know our friend Yvonne, but my heart goes out to her as I have also endured untimely loss. And I have intimately perceived a mother's pain in losing a son, as it happened, in a cruel twist of fate, to three consecutive generations of women in my family. It wouldn't be appropriate to elaborate here, but I grieve with Yvonne, also. And I am praying for her.
"The Lord is close to the brokenhearted, and saves those who are crushed in spirit."

You're very welcome, dear Sally. Sorry for the miscue, I don't have a different friend who lost a son, but I was referring simply to Yvonne. We will continue to pray for her and her family! Love always, Mary Kay xoxo

A beautiful offering for our Yvonne, Sally -- I cannot even begin to relate to such a situation, but your words carry a small comfort of their own... Know that she appreciates... Yvette

Hello Sal, there is much sorrow in this poem - I found it very moving. Reading your author notes as well - Oh dear, so much heart-break. You certainly know how to tug at the heartstrings. This work is tugging mine. I am thinking of my granddaughter who is trying for a baby. I find myself worrying more about my grandchildren than I did about my children. Maybe time is the culprit - I worried about nothing when I was young back then. I am so sorry about Esther Grace - how old was she? Blessings Sally and love Dorothy xxx

Thank you, dear Dorothy. Esther Grace died just a few minutes before birth. It was too late for an emergency C-section and she was stillborn. Sophia was a C-section and brought to us by a doctor that had heard of our family's tragedy. When I look at her, I see the mercy and kindness of God. She is adored by her three brothers.
I know that Yvonne and I share similar circumstances in that we have all sons. It's hard to take in loss of life, lives so young and full of promise.

Thank you for the tender review and kind words. You're such a dear. Sending you my best today as always and blessings for your week,.Sal XOs....xo...

What a sad, yet lovely hopeful poem. I too feel sadness for Yvonne. I praise the Lord God for the safe arrival of Sophia. God works in mysterious ways, His wonders to preform.

Hello Sally.

This is a well-written poem dedicated to Yvonne and her tragic loss. It is very difficult dealing with the loss of a loved one of any age. It must be particularly sorrowful to experience the loss of a child.

Poignant and powerful--Yvonne surely will especially connect to you who have suffered a similar devastating loss--shocking--just three days earlier she'd responded to my pet request. Nice work. Cheers. LIZ

I had heard about Yvonne's grievous loss. I've never been in her shoes--
Thank God!--but I can feel for her. This is a very lovely, touching poem
that likens your own grief over loss to hers.
