This grandmother is so smart. She proved by her test that this boy really didn't love her grandaughter. I guess the answer surprised both kids and hurt Cheryl.

Grandmas are gifts from heaven and have so much wisdom (with love) to pass on. Love the bold but most accurate observation from G'Ma:
"Baby, after seventy years, I've learned most men don't love nothing more than what's between their legs..."
You have captured one perfect scenario in your short story and love the fact that young Cheryl was able to acknowledge how right her G'Ma was.

This story is really personal but it is also the truth. Sad to say that sexual desires do play an important role in one's life but if the parties involved have respect for one another, each will consider the consequences.
