I'm so sorry that I just discovered this loving prayer you wrote for me. My only excuse is it was probably written when I wasn't ready to come back to FS. Thank you so much.

Well, we have been in touch during that time. The poem was to let others here know and pray for you and they DID. You are so well loved here, dear Yvonne. Appreciate you going back in my portfolio to find this. 💖 Hugs!!

A lovely spiritual poem Helen, thinking of Yvonne and your opening line -
My friend's great loss shakes up my soul
says it perfectly, it is every parent's nightmare, and our heart's go out to her.

Hi Valda, How are you doing? Thank you so much for the review and for your kind understanding. If you want, on Jannypan's profile page, she has a birthday message for Yvonne. You're welcome to add your message there. Hugs!

I'm doing okay, some days better than others, and tears still come too quick, I can't begin to imagine how Yvonne is coping. Hugs to you too.

That's right sister Helen! He will indeed wipe away every tear. A loss of a child I believe would almost be to much for anyone to bear. I remember knowing about a baby being sick. I was praying for the baby along with many others believing for its recovery. The baby died. I went before the Lord weeping and talking to the Lord. I said Lord, I prayed and I was believing for the baby's healing. I was heartbroken. The Lord spoke to me clearly. He said to me son, I've never lost a one of them. I've got them all here with me. I've often thought about all of the babies that have either died, been killed, or aborted. I would like to know what that number is throughout the earth's history. If all of them are with the Lord, then, how much room is left in heaven? He said that narrow is the way that leads to eternal life, and few their be that find it. I think that thinking about those facts ought to cause us to examine our lives and make sure that we have oil in our lamps and we are like the five wise virgins, watching and waiting for His glorious appearance. Presenting our bodies daily as a living sacrifice, Holy and acceptable unto Him which is our reasonable service. I had a lot more I wanted to say, but, I thought that I had probably talked your ear off, sorry. I have my thoughts about why the innocent, babies die when they haven't done anything wrong. I was in prayer one time and believe that the Lord may have given me a little insight and revelation into why. Perhaps I'll share it sometime. I loved the excellent, inspirational and well written work you've penned here. Great job and well done!

Thank you for your compassionate response and for sharing the same kind of questions I had for the Lord because Yvonne already had been through so much. I can't understand why He would take her son this soon. But God knows and He's God. I'm not. So we just pray and trust. Thank you for sharing. Bless you, Brother Jeffrey!

God really is the only one who can be the comfort at times of such deep personal loss. Your poem is an eloquent expression of loving concern and friendship through faith.

I just learnt tonight that the 18-yr-old son of people I know got killed in a car accident. Comfort is hard to find sometimes.

Thank you Helen. I'm sorry for Yvonne's loss. It is tragic. Yet, I believe that not everyone wants to recall a situation where the loss of a ones loved is written in verse. I know that we can comfort their heart but to many poems is just remembering the hurt. Best to offer our condolences once and let them to themselves.

Oh no...so sad. You are sweet and wielded this difficult poem beautifully. Your picture is lovely and points us to a place where there is no sadness. I am not sure how to add to this book, but I will try.
You're a great human being:) Your love for the Lord shows in all you do and say on here.

Dear Helen, this is a particularly beautiful poem of support for the leader of our Free Versers Club.
Thank you for saying, In better words than I could ever muster, my prayers ( added to all the others ) that the last line of this poem, will happen, and soon.
