Hello Mistydawn.
Finding Mr. Brooks tied to a chair with evidence laying all around certainly is a suspicious situation. Also finding a laptop full of pornography lends to the suspicions. You would wonder how it got there if he didn't do it and it was his laptop.
You set the scene very well and now the investigation into his culpability comes next.

Finding Mr. Brooks tied to a chair with evidence laying all around certainly is a suspicious situation. Also finding a laptop full of pornography lends to the suspicions. You would wonder how it got there if he didn't do it and it was his laptop.
You set the scene very well and now the investigation into his culpability comes next.

Thank you so much for such an excellent, encouraging review. I'm so glad you enjoyed it. I agree prison time is to good for them. Although I was told preditors like them don't do well in prison. The inmates make sure they get theirs. I've never been in law enforcement, but I watch a lot of crime shows. Did a lot of research, listened to survivors' statements. I'm glad it seems so real to you. That is a wonderful complement in itself, thank you.

An intriguing story. I wonder if any cop would get away with threatening a person about moving or being shot, regardless of what he did. Otherwise, a strong installment. Well done.
