People who welcome you into a family like that are amazing. My mother in law has started wanting to do things with me, it's been 10 years since she's known me...five since we've been married. It worried me so I inquired about it from someone who has daughter in laws and she told me that my mother in law probably just wants to hang out with me. Still weird to me, but I'll take it. It's good when people want to hang out with you.

Thank you so much for this wonderful review. I live with my grandparents many years but they were more European and children or more to be seen and not heard. Jackson?s grandmother was just the opposite. She has a series of personal tragedies and you would never have known it. I hope to be like her in every way.
