Covid was and is the worse thing that ever happened to any of us. We never really appreciated what we had until covid arrived. The freedoms we had we took for granted. But now we are realizing how good we had it.

Hello anonymous

Interesting entry for the Coping with Covid-19 writing prompt contest. You personified covid-19
And vocalized the frustration we all feel.

Good luck with the contest.

It does appear that covid has disrupted the plans of the whole world. I know that no place is exempt from its reach. I like the message conveyed in this. Thanks for sharing this well written work. Well done!

I'm giving you a 6 for sincerity and honesty, even though this piece is riddled with grammatical errors and could be formalised with reworking and more 'correct' sentence structure. It speaks with vehement anger about the situation forced on us by the virus, but also societal impact by loss of freedom, loss of work opportunity, and rioting, and stupidity of others. Friends are put under the microscope, and only family and God are found good enough... end even God has to permit the writer some leeway in this stressful time.

This story, The Enemy, seems to place the virus as a focusing apparatus which reveals what is really all around us. People have responded with who they really are.

I really valuate your sincerity when writing these lines. It is a different reading when writer do it from "inside" the problem like yours. An author once said that "Friends are like the blood: when you cut and have a bleeding they came to heal and contain. If no cuts, they are circulating and ready to act, in case we need them". But you ´re right: sometimes they complain and that is not helpful for a broken health. And your hidden comparison between your friends that surrounded you when suffered the disease and Covid. You may recover other friends, but will never consider the disease not even close to a friend. Great insight!

A very well-written story about coping with Covid 19. Most people find it very devatating and it is true, do not expect help from too many people because you will not find it among your friends.

Typo
person, this is not how n(a) Christian supposed to behave

I find this a very scary assessment of life since all the trouble started. Most of the people I know try to play everything down, but this author plays things up to the hilt. There was a particular line that has me hiding from this essay:
if we don't die now, we will die in a couple of months of hunger or stupidity
I am not yet ready to die, and don't think I will be so quickly.

Thanks for sharing the honest feelings about how this time of self-isolating during Covid has affected you. Best wishes in the contest!

Suggestions:
I know, you are [a] righteous person,
this is not how n Christian supposed to behave ('a' not 'n') also suggest starting a new sentence.
We've good used to each other, (gotten instead of 'good')

This a heart wrenching post on how the virus has affected your life. It is very hard to have all you've known and loved taken from you, and being forced to readjust.
