I found this true story very touching and moving. I definitely believe that God still heals people and performs miracles. The little girl's experience that you wrote about offers an example of the Lord at work in our lives. Thank you for sharing.

Very well constructed, on theme and beautifully descriptive. We all need to recognize those "small" miracles in our lives and how something in our childhood can reflect well into adulthood.

I did enjoyed your story of a child's faith. I am wondering though would a four year old without prior health issues be aware of her mortality? Just a thought.
I enjoyed how you brought your child to trust and give her that confirmation of trust in Jesus.

It was so uncanny because I had previously had no experience with death. No relatives, no pets, nothing, but I knew that I was going to die during that particular incident. I knew my age because of where we lived. At a later age, I was very ill and heard adults whisper about was I going to die but I never had the same feeling that I was. Thanks so much for reviewing and for your honest comments.

This is an excellent story and it does show that God is there for us always and that he answers prayer. He seems to especially want to impress young children with how much he loves them and knowing that at a young age can always give you courage to face whatever you must.

Childhood experiences are so formative, and you have written very convincingly of this poor child's predicament and then her trust in Jesus to help her. It was a good idea of mommy's to send her to vacation bible school.
