This eighty-word flash fiction story, Being Discriminated, uses the right word count and shows that there is always someone being discriminated against.

The poor male bee, I feel for him. I got a giggle from this piece as it gives a funny look inside the mind of a male who wants something more out of life. I think this would be the start of a great cartoon.

I enjoyed this cute little story. I found the last part humorous about the Queen Bee, throne room, and drone. I can empathize with Bernard about the discrimination, though. It's a good example of that occurrence in the workplace.

Ha, ha, ha very good story. Oops HR forgot to mention in the job advertisement that it's a women job due to specific requirements on the job. Thank you for sharing and good luck with your writings and the contest.

A slight hive hiccup. You would think HR would know how to bee-have.

This was hilarious. Very nicely presented, with good humor. I guess, his only disqualification for the position is being a male (lol). That IS discrimination for sure.
Reminds me of the movie "Secret of My Success" with Michael J.Fox. He is being interviewed and he tells the interviewer that he can do and be anything to get this position.
The interviewer looks at him and says:
"Can you be a minority woman?"
lol
Great creative imagery and visuals - this should do extremely well in the contest - good luck in the booths.

Dear Mystery Writer,
What fun, what fun!! In this day and age, I'm sure some of those males will soon start an organized group and protests shall begin.
The 'Bee Too' movement has begun!
Hahaha. Thanks for the smile and good luck on this well crafted piece!

Clever twist on "being discriminated (insert: against)"--great punchline--destined to remain a drone. Amusing bee metaphor--queen on throne! Cheers. LIZ
