OMG, Misty, that was awful. The terrible this is, it really happens. It breaks my heart, but I'm glad you are writing this story, it has to show people what actually happens to those poor children. You certainly wrote this with all the emotion and pain that it takes to make it real. I missed this part, but I'm off to read the next one now. :) Sandra,

Thank you so much for reading my chapter and for such an encouraging review. It is horrible what happens to these kids. Even if they do survive being trafficked their mental anguish haunts them.
Thank you again for all of your help, support, encouragement, and friendship. It always means so much to me, take care.

These heavy duty stories make me mad just reading them, constantly reminding myself it's fiction. But, sadly, these kinds of abused happen every day. Thanks for sharing another fine chapter.

Thank you so much for reading my chapter and such an excellent review. I'm glad that I was able to stir the emotions in you. Anna is fictional, but she and the other's encounters are taken from true-life events, survivor's stories.

Hello Mistydawn.

The narrative and descriptions are certainly appalling. They are also realistic. Our open southern border contributes to this kind of activity. Until there is no "demand" for this criminal activity, it will not stop.

Thank you so much for reading my chapter, heartbreaking as it is. Our open southern borders do contribute a lot, but it happens within our borders too. More than 300,000 kids are considered to be at high risk. A majority are runaways, kids in foster care.

That's disturbing. Scary. It's hard to read, but the reality needs to be exposed. I can't imagine selling my daughter to men like that, even if it meant I had to starve. I suspect they just take the kids and the debt will never be paid. I hope that now that she's a cop she will get justice.

Thank you so much for reading my chapter. I know how disheartening it must be. I couldn't imagine doing it either no matter what the situation might be. You're right, the debt will never be paid. How did you come to the conclusion she's a cop?

In case you haven't already got hold of the reader's heartstrings, this line will get to them because it is so believable "I then notice the floor vibrating below me the way it did when I rode in the back of Pappy's truck." I like how you slowly reveal what has happened. I guess this is what many of my reviewers have said, show, don't tell. We are watching with increasing horror as more is revealed to us. I could go on, but I will just read it. Very well done. These stories need to be told. We are their voices.

Thank you so much for your encouraging review, I'm so glad you enjoyed it. I'm doing it in small bits, because of it's disturbing nature. Trying to gauge just how much a reader can take at one time without turning away. What good will my story do if no one wants to read it, right? I do hope you'll tell me if I've said too much. You're right we are their voices.

Good idea. I've been watching a lot of commedians on Netflix & You tube. Maybe for ome of the same reasons. If you want a list of some real funny ones let me know.

I've been binge watching Frazier on peacock. I love that show.
It's only 11 seasons so yeah, a list would be greatly appreciated.

I met my limit on Peacock yesterday. Have to pay $4.99 to continue watching my show. I can watch other shows, for now. Not sure how long though. $4.99 isn't bad, but it's the way they did it that makes me mad. Kind of underhanded if you ask me.

I have two daughters, (now grown up) and a granddaughter aged 8, of course this is disturbing to me, my role a a father, is to stand between them and the world at large. This is very sad I'm afraid, nicely written, blessings, Roy

Typo : Olive (complected) face. Complexioned?

Thank you so much for reading my chapter, despite its disturbing nature. I am a mother of 7, a grandma of 14, and a great-grandma of 1. So, this is very heartbreaking for me to research, write. But I'm doing it because of them, hoping I can somehow raise awareness, make the world a safer place.

This is so heart-breaking. It is listed at fiction but it sounds too real. I've heard of things like this happening to children and as much as I don't want to believe it, I'm afraid it is true. You are writing this more like a documentary than a novel. You are an excellent writer.

You can feel her body tremble as she shares her experience. It is horrible to have something like that happen to you and to go out and share it hoping it will help others takes a great deal of strength. I can feel taking her deep breaths and pushing through.

Thank you so much for such a kind review. I'm so glad you could relate to the character, feel her anguish. Anna is a very strong woman, that's what kept her alive.

This is such a terrible account telling the horrid tale of some of the worst of humanity. I am glad you have the courage to write about and bring awareness of these horrors. How do we help?

Thank you so much for reading my chapter. The best thing you can do is be aware of what's going on around you. If you see something suspicious, speak up. If you have a child in your life who dresses different, more provocative, wears more makeup than usual, suddenly has money or fancy clothes, lies about where they've been,

Oh Misty, this does bring tears to my eyes. How can some men be so sick and dirty in their minds to justify something so evil. I know it happens all the time, but that is no excuse. I feel very strongly about. Catch those bastards and cut it off. Maybe not political correct, but is what they're doing political correct?
Well written. Ulla:)))

Thank you so much for reading my chapter and your excellent review. My heart breaks a little more every time I write about her. Anna is a fictional character, but her encounters are a mix of survivor's stories. You're right there is no excuse. I think the children they hurt should be the ones who do it, in the middle of the town square, and should be live-streamed on the internet. Bet that'll slow the sick perv's roll, lol.
