There are emotions and feelings in your words. There is a feeling of sadness as the loss of a loved one is well described here. You have a strong steady beat in your words and this is an excellent grief poem. I am sure many can relate.

I thank you so much Elaine for following this piece of work that I enjoyed writing so much my latest piece is entitled,
"The Old Man"

I felt the pain, the sadness & broken hearted... Each lines struck my heart...

Made me in tears... I can't find the right words to console... My prayers to God for healing....
