Okay, Ron, this is probably the most romantic thing I ever read from you!
I knew you had it in you, even if I never witnessed it in this specific way! :)

Congrats on winning this contest, but I'm even more stunned by the fact that you managed to write an alliterative poem that makes the alliteration 'invisible' due to the smoothness and the incredible sensual imagery!
The poem might be centered around a sexual vibe, but it's described with subtle and sensitive language that lifts it beyond the mere carnal urges (there's nothing wrong with those either, but I enjoy the expensive feel of this).
So many awesome little details:
"savoring sweet September's surround."
"sharing subtle sentiments.
Soliciting such secrets,"

It was a very good touch to go with free verse for this specific contest - it's a great counter-balance to the oversaturated alliteration.

Anyways, you are totally caught!
You ARE a romantic at heart! ;)

Warmly,
J

Hey, Jyoti, hello. Yeah, I could write this stuff all day. It just doesn't really appeal to me that much anymore. I only went this route for the contest because no one else went with the seductive angle. I've written plenty of romantic poetry through the years. But that and sunsets and rainbows just aren't at the top of my list. I just have more fun writing humorous, dumb stuff. All the rest comes easy. I guess that's why it doesn't appeal to me that much anymore. I'm not sure why but it just doesn't. I'll throw some pretty or romantic work in the once in a while, just not real often.

And there you go. Lol. I just bundled up my philosophy of years of poetry. I can write all that stuff and it comes pretty easily. I'd just rather get a laugh out of ridiculous crap than write serious, pretty stuff.

Thank you so much for stopping by and for the awesome review and comments, J. Yes, I'm caught. I'll put one out there here. I'm glad you liked my little free verse. I also created the picture from different Google Images if interested. I really appreciate it, Jyoti. Have yourself a wonderful rest of your weekend. Thank you again.

Superbly sensual, sultry and sexy.
You've managed to create a beautiful poem here, within the tight constraints of the contest's alliteration requirements. Well done!

Wow, this is a masterpiece of Alliteration if I ever saw one. I didn't know you can make a wholesome poem consisting of words starting with S! Great descriptive imagery and visuals, stunning presentation.

Best of luck in the contest.

I salute you for using so many "S" words in a way that makes sense. Your illustration, of course, pairs perfectly and sets the stage for your words. Well written with no errors. Nicely done.
