clever use of the word and story of the poem. Instead of just reading, I read it out loud to see if flows and it past this test. It is dark but in this darkness there is philosophy.
Good work and appreciate your creativity.

Comment from A. Louise Robertson
Nicely done acrostic. The visual presentation is so well done too, a perfect marriage of poetry and art. The poem is reminiscent of Edgar Alan Poe with its dark references, but has a voice of its own with the questions it poses. After all, these days it's hard to say what exactly is real.

I enjoyed this poem; from the image,to the matching color scheme of the background and lettering, to of course the poem itself!
Very Poe-esque.

During these chaotic times, it is of the utmost importance that we be cautious as serpents, yet innocent as doves. Putting trust in illusions and empty promises can be disastrous - life does not offer do-overs. So, tread lightly and carefully, as there is certainly skullduggery in our midst!

A very well-written acrostic poem about Skullduggery and politicians that playing dirty with lies to deceive a nation. They try their best to hide their agenda bit it keeps revealing itself.

A fine acrostic with a slightly uneven meter, but acrostics are not meant to be metered, so this is okay, your words sent a shiver down my spine when I think of the deceit behind them, love Dolly x

WOW, so lovely and the last lines are magic, and open a door to contemplation :Expectant foolish, feckless minds...
Recall that though life seems ideal,
You should ask... be sure all is real.
Thank you for sharing and good luck with the contest.
