Ha and an excellent touche delivered right there. It appears the good doctor himself suffers from a wee bit of selective memory loss so thank goodness Mr. Claridge was there to save the day.
I got a good laugh from this and a lot of story was told in very few words.

I think this is a good entry for the Surprise! 80 Words or Less writing prompt.
This short piece does have a surprise at the end for one of the characters. Very cute.
