I love the way this is written. The rhyme works really well and isn't contrived, The imagery of this rainy day is stated simply and the entire poem flows well through to the end, with Kids stuck in the house on a rainy day expending their energy by singing of the displeasure of it. Mom needs a break from the singing, and kindly asks for an "intermission" this was really cute. I enjoyed reading very much!
