Hello Sally, what a lovely story so well told. I am happy for you that you were able to see what had hitherto been lost to you. I know when I had my cataract operation I was overwhelmed how everything was so much clearer and the colours brighter. It was astonishing! I lay in bed and watched the sky for ages - bewitched. The birds in my garden, which I thought I was seeing perfectly clearly, suddenly revealed every detail at a distance. Of course, your vision is limited and the gift from your husband opened your eyes for a brief moment. Enjoy your telescope and relish the heavens. Love and blessings - Dorothy xxx

Thank you, Sally. I'm glad you got a look at the moon. Most people take the moon and the heavens for granted. They don't understand that we are nothing in this universe, but tiny little specks in life, I glad you shared a moment of happiness with me.

I'm thrilled for yoi getting a telescope. Our neighbor had one when I was a kid. I know for sure I had a microscope. You are absolutely right how perspective determines the value of things and what level they are on. They are constantly revolving. This was an inspiring topic.

Some inventions are truly amazing and the high-powered telescope allows us to see close up the shape of the moon, even more remarkable with visual impairment. Super good photograph, the detail is so clear.
This is a fine story to focus on the good from a distance.

This is an amazing picture. You have a wonderful husband to give you are gift like this and help with the picture. I'm so glad you were able to even better than you had expected. I love the heavens too. When I grew up in the country the stars were amazing with no artificial light to distract. I miss that living in the city.

I agree, the country has a much better view of the sky. I'm on the edge of the city/country. My night view varies. I am grateful for anything I can see though and so thankful that I still have some eyesight left.
