Muse adrift

This is a good subject for readers who are writers. It tells our story. We will identify. It is the artist in us; never really right. But then if time has passed and I happen upon something I allegedly wrote. I ask myself, "Did I write this? It's great." I'm voting for this one.

-Nice artwork.
-The syllable count
is good, along with the
topic and description.
-I like how you describe
your writing process, and
then end with your
must "being adrift."
-Maybe it will return,
and then you'll win the contest!
-I like your entry; good luck.

The first two lines could be a short poem all to themselves; how many times have we all stared at the indentations of the words we just erased?Such a restless feeling when your muse is "adrift". I dont think mine has ever dropped anchor! Evocative of the feeling you get staring into a cup of coffee with a pen in your hand. Well done. Good luck with the vote.
