This peom reminds me of Alice in wonderland as the artwork does too.
But these times with corona virus are just as crazy and different. Writing is always cathartic.

This is a wonderful Carolesque piece that sends your reader not only dizzy, but spellbound by its absurdity.

You've also reminded me of the occasion a crest-fallen waiter came to my table to apologise for bringing me a banana split that had no banana! To tell the truth, I hadn't even noticed - there was so much ice cream and whipped cream and nuts!
I can see you had a lot of fun with this. Sometimes it is just good to go with a playful idea like this and jot down anything that rhymes and fits the meter.
Is that a hint of political satire in the lines about wearing masks?

Well, there must be a tie on the spiritual plane then because I danced for seventeen years and still 'dance' around the house and even a little bit through the grocery store aisles when a great song comes on.... the rhythm is just a part of me! ;) :) May her memory continue to play a joyful rhythm for you, nomi. Oh it does. Whenever she would visit the first thing she would do would be to turn on some music and start a dance party.
