Your well-written, vividly descriptive, pull-no-punches poem tells exactly how you feel about beets. I feel that way about liver! There's really no logical way of accounting for what we do and do not like.

You have a strong steady beat and a smooth flow of rhyming words. I like how you do not like beets and it comes across clearly, how much you dislike them. You have a vivid use of words.

I really do like beets. Had to think of the pea when writing this as they are the vegetable that I can't eat. This was a challenge for sure. Thank you so much for reviewing this post.

I really do like beets but can only eat them pickled. Had to think of the pea when writing this as they are the vegetable that I can't eat. This was a challenge for sure. Thank you so much for reviewing this post.

Such a pity that you don't like beets. They are one of the most nutritious vegetables. They have a ton of potassium in them which really helps your heart. The poem is well done and with the picture is a very nice presentation.

A very well-written poem about bets that you don't like to eat. We do not all live to eat the same things that is what makes us all unique. I love beet and it places iron in my blood.

I like how the tone changes from one stanza to the other. At first the speaker sounds like they are praising the beet. The reader who likes beets would be drawn in to enjoy the little account. Then suddenly the truth comes out. This will draw in another reader who had been sitting back. Finally another, who dislikes beets. Clever.

I have those same sentiments about broccoli Annie. Great job describing the reprehensible feelings you have towards beets and your general repulsion towards them being so strong that if you ever saw one you would have to stop yourself from barfing over your kitchen table. Well done.
