Hello, Mark,
Thank you very much for adding a chapter to our renga book. It's very well written and follows my couplet well. Good job! I hope you add more in the future..

Gypsy,
So pleased you liked my chapter to your book. Timing is always the problem since I favor the 5-7-5 format. Maybe I will be inspired to add others, even with a 7-7!, before the book is completed. LOL

If you go to the book, link are in my author notes, you can see the last one. Once you click on ADD chapter it holds the place for you. Just don't take a long time.

This is an lovely responsive 5-7-5 stanza in the renga book, Mark. It's a tender picture with an Asian influence. I especially like the shadowy floral touches in the background. Your message and picture are a very good match up.

Thanks Janet for your review and stars. It was fun to contribute to Gypsy?s renga. Since 5-7-5 is my main writing genre, being inspired to add others is a timing issue. LOL

What an adorable Renga about a mother and child, with a stunning picture. Excellent imagery and visuals. Great artistic presentation and artwork. Thanks for your author notes describing the Renga form. I never personally tried this form as I prefer rhyming poetry for the most part, but maybe some day I will.
Thanks for sharing.

Hi Eternal Muse.
As a fan of Gypsy Rose Blue, I have seen many posts to this renga collaboration. I don?t think rhymes are prohibited, especially for the 7-7 couplets. Typically, the pure (Japanese) Haiku is not a rhymed poem. Of course, I am not obsessed with following that ?rule? in my own posts.

This 5-7-5, Baby Nuzzles Her Mom, has the right set up and is a very human addition to the growing renga which moves along this homey theme.

Bill,
Pleased you liked my first attempt at this renga collaboration. Since I favor 5-7-5s, timing or inspiration is an issue should I decide to contribute others.
