What a sweet story about Nicky and your vet. I'm happy that everything worked fine when you took him there. Your vet seemed to be a caring person with great mannerisms towards the animals he helped.
Thanks for sharing.
Respectfully, Jan

Dear Jan, thank you for your review and the five stars. Ys, Mr. Brown
was a uniquely talented man as a veterinary surgeon. He was also a thoroughly nice person to talk to and share little stories about life with. He told me about the time when he was "just a wee laddie" when a bull chased him out of a paddock:clearing the five runged gate with room to spare in a flying leap. The boys and I loved his accent and never tired of talking to him. We were saddened to learn of his passing a few weeks before his 93rd birthday. cheers Cass

What a lovely story about a man who had a special gift with animals. That's what it takes to be a good vet. We have one like that, too. Nicky certainly responded to this man. As I always say, you can't fool animals.

That is so right. I have known cats nearly all my life and on the rare occasions when they have shown their dislike or lack of trust, I always took note. One was a milk money stealer whil another one was involved with a scam. More than one as it happened. So you are right.
Mr. Brow was an exceptionally gifted vet and we were lucky to know him cheers Cass

This is a sweet write and a tribute to an excellent veterinarian. The word to should be the, I think in this phrase: 'subjected to room' but a good write.

Dear Friend Thank you for your review and the four stars. Yes, Mr.Brown was almost revered in his day as a veterinarian of unique talents and skills. Fortunately his son also became a vet, so there is a good chance his wonderful ways with animals continues to this day. cheers????????

What a beautifully detailed story. I can easily picture your large, frightened cat and the kindly veterinarian. You truly brought the scene to life in a very visual manner. Your descriptive phrases (i.e., "of rare talent," "in fine voice") fit your writing style perfectly and also give your work that little extra spark of life. I enjoyed your story very much, and can easily relate to it in view of my own cats' visits to the vet.

Dear Michele Thank you for your review and the five stars. Mr. Brown was a man unique in many ways. He always thought of the patient first, so he knew what was needed .We were fortunate to have him in out lives at that time and mourned him sadly at his passing . cheers???

You're very welcome.
I'm sorry for your loss, but it's sounds as though you - and your pet - were lucky to have known Mr. Brown.

What a wonderful tribute to this vet who lived a long life and was most kind to animals as he had a magic touch. I think all vets love animals as you just can't do that job unless you have them in your heart. I really enjoyed your story Cass about your big proud cat, it's a pity you didn't add a picture of him, much enjoyed, love Dolly x
