This should have been a Rhyming poetry contest Entry. It has everything I look for in a poem: it rhymes, makes sense, and entertains me. Very nice job.

"for my heart it does pine," I'm sure most of us have had a time or circumstance in our lives when we desire a win for whatever reason. Nice rhyme throughout and it flowed pretty smooth. Never had a winning horse cross the line...only a Plow Line. Best regards.

Appreciate both your comments and rating. Thanks for reviewing. I have ownership in one that I hope crosses the finish line first on September 5th. Haven't yet written a poem about him.
