If this poem doesn't deserve a six than I don't know a six banger from a one banger.
I 'specially like...
"Thousands of believers at Judgment will worship Him,
will you point to Judas, saying, "I didn't, because of him?"
Also:
"But there are some of you who do not believe. For *Jesus knew from the beginning who they were who did not( will not) believe,* and who would betray Him."
This could be an answer to those who question about those who have never heard the Gospel message that die in here unbelief and go to hell. that is not fair. -YBIC Jerry

Hi Jerry, Romans 3 shows that God considers His Creation evidence of His existence and as such, easily understood by the most ignorant of men. This spiritual light should cause them to seek Him out as it is intended to promote. Those who seek, find. Those who reject light given to them will suffer the consequences.

Interesting poem. I agree with detractors on. First the hypocritical actions of so called Christians is a turn off. Look at the history of the Inquisitions, the burning at the stake of Bible translators by the church, the wars between Christian nations. But I agree with you on pointing the fingers. Donā??t point it at God, point it at man. As for me I worship the God @Psalms 83:18 (that men may know that thou, whose name alone is JEHOVAH, art the most high over all the earth.) King James

Great message Dennis. I know some people like that. Sadly, some good, honest, law abiding people reject Christ because of the hypocrites they see.

Thanks Janet. My point was it?s hypocritical to reject Christ because of others? failures to be faithful.
Peter failed because of self-confidence but he learned his lesson and became a great Apostle.
The word hypocrite is a powerful word and it?s tossed around pretty easily by many who think they are above slipping.
Many believers won?t speak up for fear of failure. So we need God?s wisdom in these matters and thankfully, He has promised to give such to those who ask.

I started to audio my bible after I finished reading it...I can't believe Dennis all I didn't pick up...and I truly wanted to know how to say the names...OMG...but there is still a lot I am learning...being older doesn't help with memory...LOL...

Who decides whose a hypocrite? If we compared Peter when he?s denying Christ out of fear with the time Judas was curing people by the power of God, we probably would pick the traitor over the momentary failure.
Fact is there are always hypocrites and the point of my poem was it?s hypocritical to use their example as an excuse not to become a Christian.

Thanks. Catholicism and Biblical Christianity are polar opposites. Why not investigate Jesus Himself in the Gospel of John?
Religion never saved anyone but it enslaved many. Jesus came to ?set the captives free.?
While I respect your right to chose I have little respect for those who judge before investigating.

Well by definition, being agnostic means to be a person who believes that nothing is known or can be known of the existence or nature of God or of anything beyond material phenomena; a person who claims neither faith nor disbelief in God. This means I am always educating myself as I am open to the idea that all theories have some merit. Thanks again, later daze.

Just know the Bible teaches faith in Christ is available and required for knowing God. Otherwise, we become judges of our Creator and that simply doesn't work.

Yes He did Bro. Judas was created for this reason. He was part of the darkness of man. If darkness does not abound, how can a person appreciate the light?

Thanks brother. When Jesus entered the world., He said, "I am the light of the world." Before He left, He said to believers, "You are the light of the world." Let us reflect His light brightly by staying close to Him.

You have a very good message in this poem. I hear people all the time claiming to be non-believers without any valid reasoning. A lot of the time while explaining their reasons they contradict themselves without even realizing it. Thank you for sharing this enlightening poem with us today.

I do love it when people say they can't believe because of hypocrites in the church. There are hypocrites in every walk of life, but they don't stop watching TV because of an actor hypocrite. Poor people. Well done.
