Oh, what a wonderful follow-up to the home hearth and the face of the mom (wife? daughter?) on the floating flakes thereof... Well done, my lady! :) Thanx for sharing! ;) Yvette
P.S. Only about 5 days behind now.... Lol! I'll get caught up soon, though, and star there.. ;) Until, of course, something unexpected happens (that could never happen, yeah? Ugh!) ;) ;) ;)

Way back in the middle ages, it was said that a candle lit in the window would bring a loved one home by showing the light. Only a little poem but has a loving message. K xx

I enjoy reading this poem about home coming. It is a perfect one. The light expressed the longing. The flickering was so animating as though it was talking.
Well done.

Comment from Gloria ....
There is always something so welcoming about a flickering candle in the window. Yes, a sign for those who have traveled so long, that the home are still burning.
Excellent contribution to the Renga book and a nice change in atmosphere.

Oh, this was absolutely beautiful. A stunning presentation and artwork. I have never tried a Renga, but judging by the rules of the form, this fits a form to a "t". Great descriptive imagery and visuals.
A very delightful work.
